I am currently working in Las Vegas and I'm considering moving to Pittsburgh (very seriously, not just thinking about it).
I am currently staffed as a temp at a company that has locations across the USA and they have one in Pittsburgh. I talked to them and they said they need people. This was 3 weeks ago and I'm not sure if it's the pay (I get paid $19 here) or the fact that they want me there pretty quick and I have a lot of loose ends I need to tie up first (not like a year's worth, but a good 2-3 months is needed). I also hoped to move around at the beginning of Spring instead of Winter, but I really haven't heard much.
I don't want to be annoying, but if I want to start getting serious about looking for a place to live and looking to get stuff tied up around here, knowing I had a job to come to would be pretty nice and I **really** don't want to find a job when I get there.
So should I hope to find a company that will zoom interview me and hire me here or keep pushing my current employer? What would you do?
Edited for punctuation and to add that the temp agency isn't the one with the location in Pittsburgh, it's the actual company and they are wanting to buy out my contract.
