I’m new to pittsburgh. And I know east Carson in Southside is the most well known bar hoping streets. However, the concern of safety is high with the violence in the area. But I’m also genuinely concerned about bartenders in the area as well

My friend and I recently went to a bar on the Southside and she recognized one of the bartenders as a sex offender on Megan’s law. Not only that pulled the article of what he did up and it made me completely sick. Instantly scared simply bc I’m letting a man who sexually assaulted someone serve me drinks???

What are your thoughts? Is this a big deal? Am I just being dramatic? Is there anything I can even do about this?
