We got our pitbull as a rescue about 3 months ago. Never had a pit before, not even a dog since my beloved golden retriever was put down at 13 years old.
I tried having an open mind with the pitbull, Runner, but always wary because of the literal horror stories of pitbulls. He grew up on the streets and didn't have alot of human interaction or training until us.
But, he's great. He sleeps in kiddo's bed every night now, facing the door. I come check in on both of them several times after they go to sleep and he's SUCH a good dog, tail wagging and thumping the bed. Very loving and he's learning us very quickly. Here's how they usually look at night.
