( Clarify more from my last post) A friend was going to give this beautiful 2 year old puppy (14 in dog years) up to a shelter. I fell in love with the dog instantly and asked to adopt him. It’s been 7 months now and my new home is completely destroyed. The maximum time we leave him alone is never more than 3 hours. Even if we leave for 15 minutes he shits and pees everywhere. I’m exhausted our new carpet smells no matter how much we clean it. I love this dog so much and I never want to give him away. We got him fixed. We’ve tried training. When we come home he tries to bite us (only because he gets excited) I’m afraid of what he’d do if I bring kids around him. I do not trust him. When he bites I fake cry and he’ll bite more and more if I show any signs of weakness we have to shout “ Go lay down” for him to stop. I could only imagine the damage he’d do to a child. What should we do?
