Kind of a long time ago now but figured why not share. For context I was born in the late 90's. I remember having and watching the DVDs for the first two movies a lot and saw the third in theaters opening week, shortly followed by buying the DVD. I watched all three, particularly AWE for some reason quite frequently, and in the years between AWE and OST I, for some reason headcannoned that the first three movies created a time loop. (This was dropped of course once the fourth came out and I was slightly older. Saw AWE when I was 8 and saw OST when I was 12.) Now let me address my totally irrefutable proof that this was true

1. The trilogy starts and ends the same, Jack mutinied by Barbossa, left with a dinghy.
2. Gibbs stays behind on Tortuga
3. Scarlett and Giselle are mad at Jack
4. Jack mentions Singapore in the first movie
5. Jack's "...and then they made me their chief." line ties in with DMC
6. When Jack confronts Will in CoTBP he says "you seem somewhat familiar, have I threatened you before?"
