Hi docs!!
So I'm a second year medical student, and I am really interested in Interventional Radiology!!
Do we have any interventional radiologists here in the PH?? I know that it's a relatively newer field and there aren't a lot of hospitals offering this, but I just think the field is so cool :)). I do know that they are limited by technology in the hospital they work at and may be forced to work in big cities and big hospitals.
I'm so fascinated by the diagnostic therapeutic sides of interventional radiology! Can you guys tell us a bit about the lifestyle, esp here in the PH, the difficulty of residency fellowship, what you think are the best and worst aspects of IR, and even radiology as a whole?
