Actually, matagal naman na. But this season is at its extremes. Tasks are boring. Remaining housemates are either immature or walang personality. Gone are the days where the likes of Melai or Bea Saw are in the frontlines of winning. Now, it's just a parade of recycled personalities and predictable dynamics, which makes it hard to stay invested. The show seems to have lost its spark, focusing more on gimmicks rather than the genuine, heartfelt moments that once made it compelling to watch.

I am rewatching Double Up and I can't help but compare and say na mas enjoyable yung season na yun, which was 14 years ago. The housemates back then had more depth, and the interactions felt real and unscripted. There was a balance of humor, drama, and genuine camaraderie, unlike now where everything seems forced for the sake of entertainment. Nakaka-miss yung mga natural na kwentuhan at tampuhan, and how you could actually root for people because of their growth and character. It’s hard to find that same connection with the current season.
