Hard to believe but 29 years ago tonight, Pink Floyd played, what would turn out to be, their last North American Show ever.
7/18/94 Giants Stadium, East Rutherford NJ Setlist: Shine On You Crazy Diamond (1-5) Learning to Fly High Hopes Take It Back Coming Back to Life Sorrow Keep Taking (Publius Enigma*) Another Brick In the Wall pt 2 One of These Days
2nd half: Dark Side Of the Moon
Encore: Wish You Were Here Comfortably Numb Run Like Hell
I was 21 at the time, I had never seen them prior, and knowing what I know now, I'm glad I went thru, what I went thru to get tickets. They cost me a whopping $42 each. Now let that sink in. $42 to see Pink Floyd.
*This was the show where Publis Enigma popped up on the light section of the bottom of the stage.

For those who never got to experience it, Sorrow literally shook the stadium during the intro and outro, a feeling I'll never forget.
And I'll never forget the 2nd half, hearing the heartbeat and then Breathe. Was very surprised by it. When they reached Us and Them, I turned to my friend and asked "they gonna play the whole album?" He shrugs. When Eclipse was over, I was just stunned. "Holy shit they just played Dark Side of the Moon"
You see kids, back in 1994, the internet wasn't quite a thing and we had 0 idea of the setlists, not were there videos popping up on YouTube. I'm glad I was surprised by this.
The encore was mind blowing to say the least and when Gilmour said "we'll see you again soon" I had 0 idea that we wouldn't.
