Anyone feel Welcome to the Machine is underrated?
Post Body
For me, it's one of the favorite PF songs. It's one of first songs that got me into the band and I keep it in same league as Time, Wish You Were Here etc. It gives me goosebumps. But I saw many people here saying it's the weakest song of the album. Some say the lyrics are cringy, cannot stand synths etc. What are your thoughts?
Comments
Saying it’s the weakest song on Wish you were here isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The other tracks are just that great. Doesn’t make welcome to the machine worse.

Gilmour shredding on Have a Cigar makes it a classic for me. Just love the whole groove of the song and then the ending is like listening to a live house DJ the way they peel the sound back abruptly. Way ahead of their time as always.
