I just need to vent. I have an acquaintance who is a dentist who has a pinball machine in her waiting room. She knows that I collect pinball machines. Today I found out she decided she no longer wants the machine in her waiting room and sold it for a bargain basement price "just to get rid of it". She didn't offer it to me to purchase.

I'm just super bummed because you guys - we're talking about a Williams Hurricane that has been well-maintained in her office for quite a few years. She sold it to someone who I had recommended to her when she needed a service call on it. So I'm really extra salty because I know who she sold it to and I know what she sold it for and it kills me that they got this smoking deal (she essentially ripped herself off with her asking price) and I didn't! ARGH.
