I was at Lyon's Classic Pinball yesterday, havin a blast. I had never tried TNA before, every time i looked at it I sorta rolled my eyes. I'm pretty new to pinball so I'll say i didn't 'get it' until I put together that it was a new rendition of the older design sensibilities. It helped being at Lyon's Pinball, since they have so many examples of the older games that TNA was inspired by. (i was parked in front of seawitch for a long time too)
but oh boy let me tell you when i finally gave tna a try i was hooked, I got it. that table is hard as fuck. the difficulty coupled with the sound design grabbed me like few other tables have.
my big problem though, they had it set at 75 cents. I had to stop myself, i just wanted to keep going to try and conquer the thing, but it was draining my quarters sooo quick. I feel like the game is just too fast and too tough to be set at 75. Feels like the cheaper option to get good at the table would be to buy one for myself lmao
I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I do. There's a comic store near me that has one but it's $1 per play!
