Hi all, first off just wanted to say how happy I was finding this, definitely makes me feel better knowing there is a whole community of people out there that suffer with this too.
Anyway, I have had a reoccurring pilonidal cyst for over a year. Would swell to the size of a golf ball, pop, drain, heal, repeat. About once every 10 days for a year. Finally I was recommended to have surgery which went very well, I had like ZERO pain even the day of, my surgeon said everyone was successful and said the same again at my post op check up a month after… but now, literally two months to the day, after having the surgery I’m starting to feel tender in the area and I’m definitely noticing that when I sit, stand up, walk like. There is no bump or any visible signs anything is going on, but I’m definitely feeling some tenderness that I haven’t felt this whole time.
Is it just like internally healing still? Or should I be concerned it starting to come back?
