I had a pilonidal cyst drained in 2017 after going to the ER. it went away for awhile but sometime in 2020 it came back due to the pandemic I didn't really get it checked out as I wasn't going to Primary Care as often. In 2021 I had noticed the sinus forming around the tailbone and started to get paranoid. I visited the ER and even met with a surgeon to get it removed but couldn't get it done due to the recovery time interfering with my Work. I'm still living with it today. I haven't experienced much pain maybe a little irritation and It drains almost every day. I'm starting to get paranoid again that it might cause something more serious? I'm more open to get surgery now and am going to ask my PCP about getting surgery again. I was curious has anyone had a similar situation and should I be scared of something bad happening to me?
