Our hero wakes up in the hospital after an injury. His dragonblooded fiancé tells him how much she wants to protect him and care for him, and how awful it was watching over him while he was unconscious, feeling like she might lose him. But when her dragon desires lead her to take her protectiveness too far, she must come to terms with what it means to love him as a person, for who he really is. (About 2,600 words)
