Summary
(For the Speaker) You are a siren with a weak voice. Because of this, sailors can see you long before your quiet voice can reach them to charm them, and they know to sail away, so you've never actually caught a human to eat them. One day, however, a human sails to you anyway, crashing their ship upon the jagged rocks you laze about on. As they eventually wake up, they find themselves in your lap, at your mercy. Every instinct in you tells you to eat them. But still... How could you eat them? You are so curious about human songs! They could teach you! And they could give you feedback on your singing! You've never had much in the way of actual conversation, much less feedback. Eventually you decide you will keep the human alive, as long as they talk to you, especially about songs. At the end of the script there is a chance to end it with singing a song of your choice.
(For the Listener) You've crashed your ship upon the rocks, and wake up to find yourself face to face with a siren. Her voice was too quiet to charm you, yet you sailed to her anyway? A curious choice to make, since sirens are known for eating sailors. If you're lucky maybe she'll spare you? But what do you have to offer her?
