This is my first ever SFW script (and my first A4A)! I have a chronic illness and today is a (very) low spoon day so I felt inspired to write this while I'm curled up on the couch (despite the other scripts that are sitting unfinished in my google drive). The title was supposed to be a placeholder but then I made the connection between spoons and spooning and it made me laugh, so the title stayed. This one is obviously a lot more dialogue-heavy (and kind of long), but as always, feel free to edit/tweak/remove/add whatever you like to make it work better for you. I hope you guys enjoy this one!
Background: Your significant other has a chronic illness and has her good days and bad days. You try to help take care of her on her bad days, but it makes her feel guilty because she doesn’t feel like she does her fair share in the relationship.
Scenario: You come home to find that your significant other is low on spoons and has been in bed all day. You do your best to comfort and take care of her, but she’s resistant to your help. She admits to you that she feels guilty when you have to take care of her and do things for her, but you remind her that you take care of her because you want to, not because you have to.
Disclaimer: This is an original work by me, RightBitofKit. It was written by adults, about adults, and for adults. Any similarities to real people, places, or events is unintentional.

Click HERE for an explanation of spoon theory in case you're unfamiliar and interested in learning about it! There are tons of articles about it (and alternatives to it) but the Wikipedia article will give you plenty of information to start with. This isn't a requirement to fill the script or anything, it's just in case you don't know what I'm referencing and want more information!
You can find all fills of this script here!
Please let me know what you think of this script and if you choose to fill it! Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
Thank you!
