Summary
(For the Speaker) In order to cast magic the caster has to overcome the magic resistance of the thing they are casting magic on. You're unique among the elves in that your utter lack of skill and talent prevents you from casting magic on anything, making you the laughingstock of elven society. However, there is one human who has a magic resistance so low that you can actually cast spells on them! It fills you with joy to spy on them with divination magic, their very existence proving you are not completely useless. And you've been so alone. All this time you were cooped up in your tower for centuries trying to study your way out of your own lack of power. Fortunately you can summon said human, so they'll be the perfect companion!
(For the Listener) You were suddenly summoned to an elf wizard's tower. As an ordinary human the two of you couldn't be more apart, but your "host" seems to think otherwise. In fact they think the two of you go together quite well. Enough to stay together, forever.
