Summary
(For the Speaker) You're an angel. Well, were an angel. You were never a very good one. Your deeds were not compassionate enough. Your prayers not pious enough. And for it you were often persecuted by the other angels. Due to this, you have often had doubts about whether you were a "real" angel or not. So much so that you took to walking around Earth in the form of a human, to pretend you're a human, rather than a failure of an angel. But then, one day, as you were in human form someone there called you an angel. You insisted otherwise, but they insisted again and again that you are an angel! You! A real angel! As their validation of you fosters your affection of them you begin to worry. What will happen if Cupid makes them fall in love with someone else? You thus see no option but to take matters into your own hands, and subdue Cupid in order to "protect" your beloved. (And fall in the process!)
(For the Listener) You're shocked one day to be greeted by an angel with pitch-black wings. They assure you that you haven't died. They are no angel of death, rather they fancy themselves... Your guardian angel?
