I want you to carry everything that you are with you. Everything I love. Everything in your mind that you're scared and insecure of. All your ghosts and monsters.
Carry them all with you while I lead us in the dark.
This script comes from my personal experiences of being comforted after telling someone I suffered from night terrors. It was something I found difficult to open up about and once I did, I was able to accept that part of myself. I'm afraid of nightmares, but I'm no longer afraid of going to sleep.
