Summary
(For the Speaker) You are a kitsune in a forest, who once lovingly served as the familiar of your master. Unfortunately, humans do not live as long as a kitsune does, and your beloved master passed from natural causes. Fortunately however, a young apprentice mage has come to you with the same aura as your old master! Surely fate has brought their reincarnation to you! As you reminisce with them and plan to become their familiar once more, they reveal they plan to have more than one familiar. Resolving to be with them exclusively, you trick them into becoming the familiar with you as their master, so that they can't make a contract with anyone else.
(For the Listener) As an apprentice mage it's about time you make a contract with a familiar. Your search for a kitsune familiar brings you to the forest where fate would have you find one! How fortunate, kitsune are highly prized for their reputation... as powerful tricksters.
