In between trying to write 3 scripts last week (and failing to finish either of them, lmao--I'm working on it!), I came across this script by the incredibly talented u/strawberriessweet and decided to give VA a try. I definitely improvised as I went along to adapt the script to what felt more natural for me to say in that situation, but I made sure to keep the core of the script very much intact.
Premise: Your best friend shows up at your doorstep, barely getting her thoughts straight and sounding more nervous than usual. Apparently she ran out of class straight to your apartment to tell you something...something she'd been holding in for almost a year now.
( link to the og post for more details about the script)
Anyways without further ado, here's the audio! As always, any feedback is appreciated!

Sidenote: I wish I'd saved the bloopers because 1. in the first few tries recording this, I would freeze at the most random moments for the most random reasons 2. ohmygoddd it took forever to get over the initial roadbump of just getting used to the process, especially hearing your own voice on tape 💀. I'm still cautious to say I'm anywhere comfortable with it overall, but it was so much fun once I started getting the hang of it and will definitely be trying out more stuff soon! And also major respect to all the VA's who've been doing this thus far. ♥️
