I read a story on Reddit where a spouse was in treatment for cancer, and was taking oral chemo pills. While they didn't like that they couldn't help much at home, their spouse reassured them with "Your only obligation is to not die." It stuck with me and I wanted to turn it into a script :)
Because as far as I'm concerned you only have one real job around here. And that's to keep going.
