Here's an audio that is part encouragement, part comfort audio and part educational ramble. In it, I repeatedly but gently reaffirm that it is okay to make mistakes and to fail, that failure doesn't define you or your worth, we often tend to think our mistakes are bigger than they are, and I talk about the positive aspects of failure and mistakes. Particularly I talk about how making mistakes can be a path to learning, growth, wisdom and self-improvement. I also talk a bit about perfectionism and how it is important to let go of unhealthy standards that things must be flawless or perfect. It's okay to do stuff badly and just get it done. It's okay to struggle with things or make mistakes. What matters is that we try, we learn from our mistakes and then apply those lessons in the future in order to try and succeed. I also talk a bit about integrity, responsibility, acknowledging mistakes and owning up to them, apologising and learning to reframe mistakes from negative experiences into positive ones.
I hope you find this audio helpful! Please feel free to leave me a comment letting me know what you thought.
