This is a comfort audio for anyone who feels ostracised, discriminated against, treated differently or in need of an ally. I've elected to make this audio non-specific, so regardless of the reason for the inequality you've suffered, it should hopefully apply. I know that minorities are often rendered invisible, and I don't want to contribute to that by making this audio a general one, but rather I want to highlight the common ground of all discrimination and hopefully help people to empathise and understand each other and the different types of bigotry they face.
Whether you've been discriminated against because of your race, gender, sex, sexuality, religion, level of ability or anything else, this audio will hopefully help you to feel seen and validated. To assure you that there is nothing wrong with you, the problem is with society. That you don't need to change yourself to fit in, that you are valid, exactly as you are. I try to inspire you with hope for the future, console you over the inequality of the present, and promise to stand and fight with you until all humans have the human rights they deserve.
I truly hope that this audio is healing and helpful. I'm aware that I'm very privileged and have not experienced this kind of inequality, so I I hope this isn't patronising, invalidating or seems like I'm capitalising on your suffering for glorification. I have the best of intentions, but recognise I am still ignorant on many subjects.
You can listen to the audio on Youtube or soundgasm if you'd prefer.
If this audio resonated with you, I'd love to hear from you in a comment or private message. If you'd like to hear more of my audios, you can find them on my subreddit /r/msa_andeh.
