This is a comfort audio/ramble where I talk about how many of the people I've spoken with have a tendency to self-deprecate and devalue their own words. It's a topic that is near and dear to my heart, as obviously I put a lot of value in words, given what I do. I talk about the nature of that defense mechanism, the reason for it and how it's only causing you guaranteed hurt. I talk to you about the importance of your words and expressing your thoughts and feelings, validate what you feel and assure you that people care. I encourage you to talk to me or other people, starting by leaving a comment or replying to someone else. There's lots of kindness, gentleness and compassion along with encouragement and reassurance, giving you some positive affirmations and reinforcement.
You can listen to the audio on Youtube or soundgasm if you'd prefer.
I hope you enjoy this and find it helpful. I'd love for you to let me know what you thought about this audio (preferably without self-deprecating or apologising for talking to me). If you'd like to hear more of my audios, you can find them on my subreddit /r/msa_andeh.
