Summary
The bell rings and you are on your way to the bus. But before you get on-board, your best friend stops you. She asks you if you can meetup after school, but that she'll let you know. A few minutes later, you get a text from her asking to meet at midnight on the roof of her apartment building. "It's important" the text says. Not wanting to let her down, you sneak out and race to meet her, hoping everything is ok.
Script Link: Script Bin
Writer's Notes
After seeing how well received my last wholesome script was (Seriously. I never, ever expected to get 14 script fills.) I decided to experiment a bit with another wholesome script and make it a bit more personal.
I memed about it a bit on Twitter, but that last script was actually based on something that happened back when I was in high school, just modified to work as a script. This time, I'm sharing a bit more from my memory; a story about two dumb teenagers who liked each other. It's still modified to work better as a public script, but it is based on personal experience.
I was initially hesitating on writing this script, but listening to music changed my mind. Whether it's a happy memory or a breakup, a lot of the best songs are the ones where the artist and writers share their own experiences. I guess it's just easier to write and express a character or story when it's an actual thing that happened. I don't plan on writing too many of these as my life isn't that interesting to be honest. But writing these kind of scripts reminds me that even though sometimes things don't always end up how we planned or dreamed of, there are still good moments that come from it. We should cherish those happy memories rather than always focusing solely on the bad one.
Anyways, if you're interested feel free to check out the script. And if you have any feedback, please feel free to let me know. Thanks!
Just a few rules for this script:
Please remember to give credit. A simple mention of my username (u/Lalo_ASMR_Alt) or just Lalo ASMR in the description is fine.
Post the audio on whatever platform you like, whether it is free or monetized. But please share with me the final audio, either a public link or an audio file if a public link is unavailable. It lets me know which scripts are well received and helps me plan for future scripts.
Editing and modifying is ok and encouraged, including switching the gender of the speaker and/or audience. I'm always open to new ideas and suggestions.
