Post Body

You (the speaker) have known your friend for several months now, and in that time you’ve gotten pretty close. When a harsh winter storm knocks out power to their neighborhood, you offer to let them take refuge at your place. After a cozy evening of hot chocolate and board games, your conversation wanders into… uncharted territory, and you feel yourself begin to panic…

My first script! This comes from a very personal place for me - I've spent my whole life with body image and self-confidence issues, so when listening to various friends-to-lovers audios I couldn't help but image how I would react to a confession, and the difficulties it would present. I hope someone else feels seen by this script, and that we can maybe help remind each other that, despite what our brains tell us sometimes, we are capable of being loved.

I imagined this script as male speaker, female listener, but there are no pronouns or other gendered language used, so either can be any gender really.
