Hello there,
It's me, Darling. I was having some awful – frustrating – writer’s block working on a new NSFW script today, so as I usually do, I read some poetry for comfort. There’s this one poem that I’ve saved, one that I’ve read often when I’m feeling saccharine and mushy, called “After the Lunch.” Then I got inspired for a SFW script, and here we are. I hope you find comfort in the poem as much as I do.
I should have a new NSFW script released sometime in the next few days, but for now, enjoy this mush.
Speaker POV: Your love comes home from a hard day of work looking the worst you've seen them in a while. Close to tears, you come and hold them in your arms. You decide to give them all your affection to help them feel better. Suddenly, your love asks you to recite a poem for them, and you are only happy to oblige. There is one that you remember, that describes your relationship perfectly.
Listener POV: You just had one of the worst days at your job. You're ready to come home and bury your head in a pillow to forget the world even exists. Met at the door by your loving significant other, you're hugged, comforted, and cuddled by them. You ask them to recite a poem, because their passion for poetry makes your heart flutter. That glimmer in their eye tells you they know the perfect one.
