Honor 20 Pro can't be used with own DNS servers, is what Huawei support chat told me few minutes ago.

I posted here already: https://www.reddit.com/r/pihole/comments/i6o10q/android_10_honor_20_pro_not_blocking_ads About my phone not respecting DNS settings. I went to support chat and got told that the Honor 20 Pro can't be used with own DNS servers at all!!! Wtf?
Edit: Was confirmed today by technical support, that a 3rd DNS is hardcoded since the update!! Blocking that DNS (8.8.8.8) isn't possible as the phone will use mobile then to access the DNS! Tried with flight mode and only Wi-Fi on. When opening an app that has ads, the phone shortly connects to mobile network to contact the DNS! So even with mobile data off, flight mode, firewall, etc, it's not possible to block that DNS request!!
