Day 3 with new bird

Advice Needed!

This is my first pigeon. I previously owned parakeets but I’m truly enjoying this new experience. I purchased birdie from a pet store

Not sure of the sex but it was extremelyyyyy aggressive when it first got here. The pet store said it was a male but they were not certain.

I began solely hand feeding the bird and there’s been a complete 180 with the biting. Not very open to being pet but will sit on my hand for up to 5 minutes

How did you find out your bird’s sex? I’d prefer not to pay for testing but I’m open to suggestions
