hey all! im fully aware that cheek piercings are prone to issues and knew that going into it as well, so no worries there.
i have had mine pierced for about 3 years, and i love them to death. they are prone to random bumps every once in a while, which eventually drain and go back to normal. usually i have no issues with this and it doesnt really bother me, butttt i am dealing with a particularly stubborn one right now at a very inconvenient time.
i am getting married in 2 weeks, and one of my cheeks has the most persistent bump that is refusing to go away. any advice on how to proceed? would love tips on getting mr bump to go down. it did drain like a week ago and i thought it would be all good like usual, but it popped right back up a day later and is holding its ground. no idea what triggered it- i did have a jewelry change about 2 months ago but i dont think that did it considering it didnt flare up until over a month later. i dont think theres any infection- not painful or warm to touch. should i baby it like its fresh and do twice daily saline soaks?
it looks a bit red in these photos because i messed with it a little, not something i would usually do. i was trying to make sure it felt like the bumps i am used to (it did)
