There's this dealio called Intake Breathing that you use these adhesive magnets on the outside of your nostril and then a little piece that pulls your nostrils open with a magnetic connection, I am thinking about the possibility of just getting two little studs on my nostrils so I don't have to apply the adhesive iron ball bandaid thing to the outside of each nostril each night (time consuming and the replacement strips are expensive). But I know that ferromagnetic material is usually avoided in piercings. Are there any materials that are safe? Would 430 stainless steel work? I don't know if the magnetic pull would be strong enough but I might try it if I could find a source for a good stud/ball/whatever to have myself pierced with (if anyone can recommend a shop I'd love to hear). I'd probably start with one side and then consider getting the other. The replacement strips are $25 a month for this nasal strip product and I worry they will go out of business.
