so, I got my belly button pierced when I was 15, and haven't worn a ring for about the last 9-10 years. I decided to check if it was still open before re piercing and it was. I disinfected the area, and a 16g barbell (didn't want to start off with the 14g). it went in fairly easy but now seems infected, I've been using warm water and non iodized salt to clean it. Should I take the ring out let it heal and re pierce? Or is there something else I can use to clean it?
