My septum ring is too small, but I cannot get it off

Post Body

So I learned the hard way the importance of measure twice cut once. Have a small 6mm diameter septum ring. Its a clasp loop thing. I cannot get it open. There isnt enough space where I can grab it and try to get the clasp. I have the like plier things for septum rings, but its far too small of a gap. Would it be bothersome to go to a piercer and ask them for a help to get it, or is that considered rude? I dont think I have many options here and I'd like to swap it out for a bigger ring.
