Fresh Nipple Piercing Question (38M)

I had both of my nipples pierced a few days ago. I've been following the aftercare instructions pretty closely, but I'm still having occasional bleeding. I'm trying to leave them alone to let them heal, but I keep ruining shirts. Is this normal or do I need to head back to the piercer to get them checked out?
