I’m going to a piercing party soon but have surgery in 2 months - are there any ear piercings that will heal in time?

I’m going to a piercing/permanent jewelry party soon with a group of coworkers. I would like to get another piercing somewhere on my ear, I already have two lobe piercings.

The catch is; I have surgery scheduled about two months after the party and I’ll need to take out all my jewelry for it. I may be able to keep plastic jewelry in but I’m not totally sure on that. I don’t want to ask the professional at the party because I’d rather not mention the surgery in front of everyone.

Does anyone have suggestions for piercings that heal quickly enough (or at least won’t cause issues if taken out after two months)? I know healing times vary, but any advice or experiences would be super helpful!

Thanks!

If you’re a woman, a labial piercing would be able to heal in that timeframe. This would also mean you’d need to follow healing directions exactly, including proper hygiene and not engaging in spicy activities
