Questions about floating navel vs traditional navel piercings

I went to a reputable piercer, he did my navel and my friends, her is healing wonderfully.. mine was rejecting fast.. I got a second opinion and she told me it needed to come out. The guy literally just grabbed a piece of my stomach and stuck a needle thru it instead of piercing thru my actual navel.. anyway $40 down the drain and I got that piercing bc my stomach is my biggest insecurity and it made me feel pretty again.. and now I’m left with two purple scars. I do have a collapsing belly button do I have to get a floating navel?// is a floating navel temporary as it heals and you can switch to the regular jewelry after it heals? I’m honestly super unfamiliar with what a floating navel is. I prefer the look of the traditional jewelry but if I have to get the floating navel does it always have to remain a floating navel? Is the procedure any different or is it simply just the jewelry? If anyone could direct me towards more knowledge on the topic if not here I would seriously appreciate the insight as I don’t seem to understand the concept for some reason. I’m not sure if this information matters but I’m going to add it just incase it does, I mentioned I have a collapsing belly button,, I do, but I don’t. It only completely closes on itself (like from O to _ ) If im full blown doing a crunch, but from standing to sitting it’s like 0 to o. Perhaps a little more oblong but I’m hoping you get the point, I don’t know if that plays any part in any of the questions I asked prior but any information would be so greatly appreciated. Anyway I posted my piercing here a few months ago and many people told me to take it out/ get a second opinion on it, so I did, but no one had commented that I didn’t have the correct anatomy and the piercer I went to for a second opinion said I have the same type of belly button as hers and anatomy isn’t a problem when it comes to getting my navel pierced.

Could you post a pic of your navel / where the spots are? I’m unable to give advice without seeing it
