i know it's gross, but it's human. ever since getting my septum pierced a few months ago, especially after getting sick, I've had TERRIBLE booger build up problems. it gets hard to breathe at times like waking up. the boogers are long and either slimy and like almost neon yellow/green, or they're crusted so hard onto the side of my nostrils that it feels like I'm pulling skin, usually in the crevasse of the tip of my nose or around nostrils.

can anyone tell me what's going on? my septum isn't infected and there's no pain but my nose skin has become very dry and flaky at times. i have pretty sensetive skin so the dryness isn't really uncommon for me but the insanely giant crusty/slimy boogers isn't normal for me but didn't start until i got sick. it's just uncomfortable feeling it in my nose all the time.
