TLDR: I switched back to studs from my rings and it fucking hurt.
For some context, I know you’re not supposed to wear them while you’re still healing because it causes more irritation and can cause improper healing. But I’m about 4-5 months out from getting my snake bites now and I switch from the little studs to rings every now and then with no issue. Tonight I went to switch my rings out and when I went to put in the regular studs it was like pulling teeth to try and get them through, and when the right one finally did it made an audible squish kinda noise and bled a bit as though I had just re pierced it. Should I avoid keeping my rings in for extended periods of time from now on, is that just a thing I didn’t know about?
