Pierced by a gun as a kid, constant issues

As the title says, I had my lobes pierced by a gun when I was like 10 at Claire's, but have had nothing but issues since; every time I put jewelry in, no matter the material, they weep, and when I initially put the jewelry in the holes are WAY more irritated than they should be (my entire lobe becomes bright red and hot to the touch). I'm just wondering what you guys would recommend I do? I've basically always accepted that piercings must be finnicky, but after getting my septum pierced and having zero issues (I can finally change my jewelry, and it was SO MUCH EASIER to change my septum ring than it ever is to change my earrings) I'm realizing the issues are likely from the gun. I don't think just letting them close and get repierced is an option, as they're 10 years old atp and I've let them go months without jewelry before and they didn't close. Right now I have titanium studs in and I'm just leaving them alone and hoping the piercings fix themself, but is there anything else I can do?

Time and good aftercare will fix it. I had my lobes and helixes pierced at Claire’s and after 2 months with titanium jewelry and correct aftercare with neilmed, they were fixed right up. Make sure to get your jewelry downsized too as it heals

Yep, 1 week is not long enough to see results

Can you post a photo of what they look like? And are you 100% sure that the titanium is implant grade?
