Can't find the right stud for nose

The windy studs always seem to be visible from my nostril. The straight ones with the ball point always seem too long and eventually the ring kind of sticks out from the piercing, or I loose the stud entirely. I don't want to use a ring it just doesn't look good on me. Any suggestions pls?
