Hello, I've never gotten a piercing before but want to get an earlobe piercing to wear an earring I bought at an event. The earring has a little hole at the top of the decoration for a hook to come through. From the few minutes I've spent googling, apparently you need a high quality metal for the part that actually goes into the ear. So my question is, will most shops let me come in with the earring, and I can buy a little hoop or hook or whatever that is made of the proper material and they will fit it for me?
