So, got my nipples pierced in September. (First piercing, so I’m a newbie.) My piercer said to check in with him in December for downsizing. My question is, why do one need to downsize? Whats the purpose of doing it?
The piercings are healing well, no bigger problems. The swelling is down and there are about 2 mm free space on each side. I have straight titanium bars, inner threading, and baby them with saline solution every day. So far they have not get snugged on anything (except that painfully memorable moment in the beginning when drying myself with a fluffy towel….aaaooochhh)
So,are there any other reason except risk of getting stuck in something to downzise?
