Regardless of your opinion of him personally Im putting this up in the bodymod/piercing subs because we all know what it is like to be shunned because something is unpopular. I myself having worked in the body modification industry have at times been told that what I am doing makes me a bad person(scarification/branding/piercing/tattooing). I respected VA because I believe in personal freedoms as long as it isn't hurting anybody. If you have the ability and want, please consider making a donation to VA. If you don't, or are butthurt about it, then move along.

Consider that even though what was reported by Gawker may be technically "accurate", there is no proof of any illegal activity on the part of Violentacrez. Despite this, Texas (where VA lives) is a "right to work" state which means his employer could (and did) fire him without warning and without cause. The employer also has no obligation to pay any sort of severance compensation which means he was left with whatever savings he had in the bank - only 3 weeks worth of funds according to him.

Whatever you think about him personally - Reddit helps its' own and Violentacrez is definitely "one of us".
