Some people and I are going to be a few days stuck with no access to internet on the machine where pico8 is going to be installed and using portable storage to move from a connected machine to the pico8 one is not an option. The only way to play pico8 games will be by downloading them beforehand and storing them on the drive before going silent.
So with that in mind, is there a way I can download a bunch of carts from the BBS or itch.io or even premade bundles? We are some people with lots of different tastes so it doesn't matter which genre or "quality" is the game, someone will like it. I just want to have a bunch of games to move to the device and play in short burst, passing the controller, 2 player... we can manage to have fun, I just need the carts.
Why am I asking this? I don't want to download manually a lot of games and my internet right now is very slow, going through each game's page on itchio or BBS, waiting for the page to load, etc to access only to the cart file is too time consuming. I have thought of making a scraper in python but I'm not sure if there is a more efficient way. My preferred method would be a premade bundle I could download but I'm ok with some optimized scrapper or program, or even page where all carts are listed to access directly to the PNG
Thanks
