I am a musician who is already familiar with theory, I would say I'm an intermediate guitarist and I have a feel for rhythm as well. Going into this some things felt very intuitive.
In about a month I've been able to recognize every piano chord shape. You name a major, minor, flat, sharp, or 7th, I can find it and play it. Right now I've been enjoying learning some of my favorite songs, some tutorials for specific riffs or just playing off the chords.
I want to take this to the next step, but I'm not sure what to do outside of scales. I want to learn in an entertaining way sort of how I'm doing now if possible. I can learn any song I want and I already have the basic feel. If there are any good resources or tips on next steps, please let me know. The goal right now is to be able to write songs like I do on guitar.
