How do I make the beginning of learning the piano more fun?

Post Body

Currently, I am learning to play my electric keyboard piano. I have the Yamaha P-125 model piano.

I've read the FAQ and am currently working through the Andrew Furmanczyk music theory videos, as well as working through the Alfred's Piano course book. My goal is practicing 30 minutes a day at the moment.

I do not have a teacher yet. I wanted to get one after I get through the book.

However, I am struggling with getting engaged or having fun with what I am doing. The warmups feel so monotonous, as well as the songs. I know that practicing won't always be fun and a good time, and that warmups are a necessity (it's not that I mind doing them exactly, but I just feel really bored when the only thing I'm doing is trying to master Jingle Bells or some other basic stuff and find myself losing focus), but is there a way you guys kept engaged with the content in the beginning?

Thanks in advance!
