Exams - no repeats, include ornaments?

Specifically re: RCM exam, Telemann Aria in G Maj.

In Baroque music (correct me if I'm wrong), ornaments seem to be amplified on repeats. On first iteration (before repeat), many performers seem to include virtually no ornaments.

But in exams, repeats are to be omitted. I'd like to add at least some ornaments (though none are specified in the text).

Is it appropriate then to include at least some ornaments, despite no repeats?
