For context, I have a degree in music so I am not completely new. My 1st instrument is guitar which I teach. I play several other string instruments as well as percussion. I know the basics of piano as it is kind of picked up with music theory.
I can play the basics, scales, triads, 7ths etc.. I'm working on learning the best way to navigate inversions as I've just been playing in 1st position until recently I discovered that it's much easier to move around using the root note differently! (Thanks Elton John for teaching me that!)
I'm currently learning to play the chords to fly me to the moon - frank Sinatra.
However I would like some advice on where to go to play slightly more advanced, like being able to play things like fly me to the mood but with the melody line as well.
What profession route would be the best to take?
Or any piano teachers willing to help in exchange for guitar lessons?
Thanks in advance
