Taking a part time BS job while searching for first job as a new grad

Just graduated, and my student loan funds are getting low… haven’t found a prospective job yet.. How many others took a job in between? What job(s) did you take? I was offered an externship at my last rotation, but I hated that rotation so much that there’s no way I’d take that. I’d prefer something non medical as I will obviously have the rest of my career to be in medical.
